Volunteer Recognition

Greater Ottawa County United Way announces our annual Red Ribbon Campaign in recognition of National Volunteer Week, April 11th– April 16th 2011.  We extend an invitation to all non-profit agencies, schools, government and service organizations to join us in recognizing active volunteers.

 

We will provide three-inch red ribbons folded in a “V” for “volunteer” on a pre-order basis to all agencies and organizations wishing to use them to recognize their volunteers.  There is no charge for your ribbon order.  Also available is a copy of this year’s Points of Light Appreciation Certificate and a template letter you can personalize which explains the purpose of the red ribbons and their connection with National Volunteer Week located below.

 

 Nominate a volunteer for the “Volunteer Staraward, this is for individuals who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to make a measurable difference in their community. Volunteers who are selected for this award will receive a certificate from Greater Ottawa County United Way along with a thank you letter and the nominators name and agency.
